Bearded dragon?

every morning my dragon puffs up in his cage is that good
Answers:
It's normal. . .mine did this all the time when they felt intimidated. Usually is was accompanied by head bobbing which is also normal. Both are was of them trying to be "tough".
Occasionally when they were cold they did this as well. They would puff their face and flatten their backs and lay on the heat rock. This created More surface area to warm up quicker.
Good? It's pretty normal. Without knowing the age/size of your beardie - the answer I offer is relatively simple. Consider if you were the size of the beardie and you lived in the aquarium...now look up and imagine seeing something the size of a human looking over you. Their reaction to "puff up" is perfectly normal. They will use this defense to make themselves appear larger than they are - in hopes of warding off the predator...you.
Try bringing yourself down to their level and see if their posture changes. Look through the sides of the tank, rather than from above..maybe move your tank to a higher platform so that they can look "down" at you. This can sometimes make it difficult to clean/manage the tank, but it definitely helps in reassuring your beardie that s/he is not in "danger".
its normal
