Breeding turtles?

how old do the turtles have to be to breed, and what kind of surface should i provide for the turtles to bury the eggs. then when the eggs are layed do i have to buy an incubator or can i make something at home?
Answers:
Age totally depends on the species of turtles. Are they aquatic or terrestrial? You can create an egg box to place in with the turtles. This is just a box with a hole big enough for her to crawl through, with vermiculite or other similar substrate in the box. Be careful when buying an incubator, many have very large temperature gradient, I would suggest making your own. Check kingsnake.com for some excellent blueprints on incubators.
look at this if u want info

The females need to be around 4-5 years old and the males 3-4 years old. Make sure that you have a nest like place where the female is able to lay her eggs.
