Even if it鈥檚 only taking one! It鈥檚 still feeding so don't worry. If you鈥檙e still concerned what you can do is try feeding it one pre feed but more often. Some baby snake just eat less when they are young just give it time it will start to catch up..
Don't try and force feed if it鈥檚 already feeding?
Are you feeding them the pinkies warm and have you tried to wiggle it in front of the baby who isnt eating?
My snake wouldnt touch her food unless it was warm and moving to start with but once she was feeding well we could just drop the mouse in but it still had to be warm.
Do you feed them together? Snakes often won't eat in front of one another because during feeding they are vulnerable to attacks. Try putting the snake in a separate tank for feeding.
My corn is now four or five months old (can't remember ^^;) I hold the pinky with a pair of tongs and move it around the cage. He thoroughly enjoys this, chasing after it. You must let go the as soon as the snake grabs the pinky; any jerking around on your part could accidently rip its teeth out.
Good luck!
Your readers have given you some good advice so far and I would like to add more thing.
You mention your snakes are at room temperature. Depending on exactly what that temperature is, it may be part of the problem.
Snakes are cold blooded, so if the room gets a bit chilly at night it can throw them off their feed. It can even cause them to regurgitate (throw up) their food once eaten. I suggest a full spectrum light (Not fluorescent) at one end of their cage so they can move in and away from the heat as needed. Try not to use a "heat rock" as they have been know to burn reptiles.
Good luck
Best if you phone a reptile shop for advise ok
YOu may want to scent the pinkie, by braining it, or getting lizard scent and rubbing it on the pinkie. Put him in a place where it is dark leave him alone.
move the pinkie around a bit infront of the snake tap its nose with the pinkie aswel
