Are ball pythons interactive and...? (read inside, please)?

Im considering a ball python, but still not too sure-- are they interactive with humans? and do they get annoyed if we take them out too much? Will they become frustrated if I take it, for example, to the mall or the beach?
I love snakes, but if i were to get one, it's mainly for interaction...

They aren't that fond of being with people.
Taking it places is out of the question, it will freak some people out, and others will try to hurt it. They don't mind a little handeling, in your house, not taking it places. They do get stressed easily, and that leeds to eating problems, so try not to stress them.
You shouldnt get this snake as a friend for you, they arn't that active anyways, if you do hold it, it usually just sits there. If you want an active snake, go for a corn snake, they are nice and active, cheap, and dont' get stressed out as easily
and no offense, but blue margarita is right
Every snake is different. Some are very mellow and don't seem to mind being held and others don't like it much. I would not recommend a ball as a first snake as they can be very difficult to get eating or keep eating. A cornsnake is easier to keep and come in a variety of colors as well. Usually quite docile and not too expensive if you purchase from a breeder. Any snake can become stressed by excessive handling. Hopefully you'll recognize the signs. As far as taking your snake to a mall or beach, most people don't like snakes and might actually be more annoyed than the snake is. It would not be legal to take your snake into a mall anyway. Health department prohibits animals except seeing eye or handicap assist animals into places where they serve food. You would not want to take a snake to the beach all day. It's stressful and not the type of exposure it should have. Excessive temperatures, both hot and cold are detrimental to their health. Snakes are not dogs. They may tolerate and even seem to enjoy being out, but they are not animals that particularly show affection. Mine definitely know me and are more relaxed when I handle them, but they aren't affectionate and interactive like my dogs or cats.
Snakes are not generally hands on animals. Especially balls. Balls stress very easily and if stressed, they will stop feeding. It is not that you cannot handle snakes, they just don't crave the attention as dogs or cats do. I do not recommend taking any snake to the mall or the beach, or really anywhere for that matter. Not only could the snake pick up an illness, consider those around you. What if you come across someone who is terrified of snakes and you walk by them? They could have a heart attack and die on the spot. Plus, most malls will not allow you to bring the snake in anyways. Also, what is the point of going to the beach if you are just going to walk around carrying a snake?
Yes, a ball python is a wonderful choice! They are cute, kind and beautiful snakes. They are the best choice for a begin er snake lover. They are easy to take care of to! But it is not best for them to be brought to different locations. So were ever they have there habitat set up is the best place you can leave them. They are very active and love to be held! And they very rarely bite.I would rather be bitten by this snake than I would a parakeet. And the other people are wrong! As adults they love to be held! Don't listen to them!
my ball python is very sociable and fun and my friend has one his is the same way
