Can alligators climb trees and like live there?

like if there is a tree over a river can they climb the tree and make their home there??
Answers:
NO...
No..but some time they try to..
.no. Who told you they could? Alligators are water creatures and need to be in the water most of the time to support their body weight, otherwise their organs would be crushed by the weight of their body.
What do you mean like live there?...As far as I know they do not act like big cats...
If the tree is way bent over, like almost horizontal, and the gator isn't very large, it could possibly climb it. I don't know why it would, though, that isn't their natural environment.
If you're phobic about gators falling or jumping out of trees on you, I wouldn't worry about it, I have never heard of it happening!
Snakes, though...that's a whole 'nother story!
Hah, it's ridiculous!! Alligators are massive creatures weighing 400 - 1000 kg, and they have very small legs that can hardly support their weight on ground, how can they climb trees? However, lizards as big as monitors can climb slanted trees.
no. if there is something they want in the tree it might face up the tree but it could never actually climb it.
Yes! They dangle their offspring over the heads of innocent canoers below an the little 'gaters' bite their heads off as they pass under the trees. Well, actually they don't bite their heads off cause the gaters are no larger than kittens.
However, they're closely related to the northern 'snow snake' that slithers beneath the snow and is white and rarely seen as you might imagine, but their deadly method of killing is dreadful to imagine whereas they wriggle into an unsuspecting campers sleeping bag and into the campers rectum and instantly freezing the poor innocent camper to death. A truely cold hearted snake!
Thanks
like....no
American Crocodiles sometimes, like, bask on fallen trees, but, like, as a rule, crocodilians don't, like, climb.
like no they can't like climb trees or like live in trees like their natural environment is like in the water
