Your local humane society (which can be found at http://www.petfinder.com/) should be able to point you in the right direction. Alternatively contact PAWS (http://www.paws.org/). You could always post him on www.craigslist.org and someone may take him off your hands especially if you are getting rid of the tank etc as well. Try and make sure that the person is an experienced reptile owner or at least is comfortable with the level of care sliders need.
